we ensure healthy lives and promote well-being, advocate for universal health coverage, and promote access to safe &amp; effective medicines &amp; vaccines for all at all ages; conforming to UN-SDG 3 \u201cGood Health &amp; Well-being\u201d<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">As of 2023, Uganda had 6,937 health Facilities; rationing to at least 6,343 individuals per health Facility; the Village Health Team (VHT) personnel are directedly responsible for basic health interventions, as the first contact within the village or local community. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Health indicators for grassroot communities remains generally poor and challenged; inadequate health facilities, understaffing, long distance &amp; transportation difficulties to nearest health Centers, bribery tendencies, informal costs, low perceived quality &amp; persistent infant mortality.<\/span><\/h6>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">We Know Health Is Wealth!<\/span><\/h2>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WENET commits to creating supportive environment for Health, and good nutritional behaviour, integrated towards improved &amp; protected health of individuals &amp; grassroot populations, \u2018\u2018Enabling, Mediating &amp; Advocating\u2019\u2019; collaborating with 34 individual change Agents &amp; VHTs, key Populations, 9 youth &amp; women community Groups &amp; 13 Health Centers as link referrals; formed 3 school Health Fitness Clubs; and since 2022, Ayami Primary School &amp; Saint Paul Nursery School adapted the low-cost feeding Program.<\/span><\/h6>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=&#8221;stretch_row_content_no_spaces&#8221; advocacy for healthy public policy; good Nutritional Food Pyramid, Immunization, mental Health &amp; Wellness;<\/p>\n<p>*Offering affordable alternative Health strategies; Medical Camps, and empowering Volunteers at last mile communities on\u201d Where There Is No Doctor\u201d strategy;<\/p>\n<p>*Youth awareness campaigns; SRHRs, Menstrual Hygiene, and exposing risks associated with Alcohol, Drugs &amp; Substance Abuse;<\/p>\n<p>*Ensuring Services &amp; awareness on preventable infectious Diseases &amp; NCDs; TB, Malaria, HIV &amp; AIDS, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, Cancers, Diabetes &amp; Ulcers!<\/h6><\/header>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row kd_background_image_position=&#8221;vc_row-bg-position-top&#8221;][vc_column][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row kd_background_image_position=&#8221;vc_row-bg-position-top&#8221;][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h6><\/h6>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u201cWASH Is Life\u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Uganda targets access to safe Water above 79% at rural &amp; urban 95% by 2030; coverage stands at 56% as at 2024. Safe WASH in rural communities in Uganda is generally wanting with real time deadly consequences on life; 1 in 5 children under the age of 5 die of diarrheal diseases daily. WENET advocates for sustainable &amp; equitable access to safe WASH, and campaigns against open defecation; conforms to UN-SDG 6! WENET envisions \u201cClean Water &amp; Snitation\u201d; improving human health &amp; school attendance; contributing to livelihood, dignity, healthy environment &amp; resilient communities; empower &amp; organize locals, and strengthen public WASH sector;<\/span><\/h6>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">WENET Sustaining Fair WASH Practices!<\/span><\/h2>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WENET embarked on WASH Agenda; fronting local communities, Schools &amp; religious Institutions.
