Agriculture is integral to the future and backbone to economy of Uganda, employs 75% of the population, contributes 50% export earnings, and 25% of GDP. For rural micro-regions, commercial Agriculture is still mythical; subsistence Farming, hands to mouth, maintains the visa circle of poverty. Critical to Uganda Vision 2040, WENET targets making rural Farmers more productive and profitable with resilient livelihoods; educate, close potential performance divide, commercialize, add value, enterprise, induce technology and stay climate-smart.<\/span><\/h6>\n

We Are Empowering Through Clustered Communities!<\/span><\/h2>\n

Since 2020, WENET clustered 1,680 Farmers in 3 sub-Counties; Agweng, Aromo & Ayami in Lira District, the Consortium of Lira Rural Farmers Associations; amalgamates 210 Farmer Enterprise Groups (FEGs) from 3 Associations, each FEG has 8 Farmers from one Village; <\/span>
\n*Agweng Rural Farmers Association, the amalgamation of Eighty (80) Farmer Enterprise Groups, FEGs, 640 member Farmers; <\/span>
\n*Aromo Rural Farmers Association, the amalgamation of Sixty (60) Farmer Enterprise Groups, with 480 member Farmers, and; <\/span>
\n*Ayami Rural Farmers Association, the amalgamation of Seventy (70) Farmer Enterprise Groups, with 560 member Farmers.<\/span><\/h6>\n
